Pulse – Haptic Metronome
Last updated: October 12, 2026
These terms cover the Apple Watch app Pulse, listed on the App Store as “Pulse – Haptic Metronome.” The agreement is between you and us, AboveTheFold.dev (“we” or “us”), not with Apple. We are solely responsible for the app and its content.
Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where one of Apple’s required terms conflicts with these terms, the Apple term controls for that point.
We grant you a non-transferable license to use Pulse on Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the usage rules in Apple’s media services terms. The app is licensed, not sold. You may not sell, rent, redistribute, or reverse engineer it, except where the law does not allow that restriction.
Pulse is free to download. Pulse Pro is an optional one-time purchase. It is not a subscription and does not renew. The price is shown in the app, on your App Store storefront, before you pay. This page does not quote a price.
Pulse Pro unlocks:
Pulse Pro is tied to the Apple Account that bought it. Use Restore Purchase in the app to unlock it again on another watch or after reinstalling.
Refunds go through Apple, not through us. Apple’s refund rules apply. You can start a request at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Pulse is a practice tool. How haptics feel depends on your watch model, how it sits on your wrist, and your watch’s haptic settings. watchOS may pause the app, for example when another app comes to the front or after the background time limit. Don’t rely on Pulse as the only timing reference where a missed beat would matter, such as a live performance.
We are responsible for maintenance and support of Pulse. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
If Pulse fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility.
To the extent the law allows, Pulse is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or free of errors.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost data or lost profits. Our total liability for claims relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid Apple for Pulse Pro. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Rights that cannot legally be waived still apply.
We, not Apple, are responsible for product claims about Pulse and for any claim that the app infringes someone else’s intellectual property. You must comply with third-party terms that apply to your use of the app.
You represent that you are not located in a region that is subject to a U.S. government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. government as “terrorist supporting,” and that you are not listed on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. When you accept them, Apple has the right, and is deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce them against you.
These terms are governed by the laws of Greece. If you live in another country, you keep any mandatory consumer protections that the law of your country gives you, and you may bring a claim in the courts where you live.
Pulse is published by AboveTheFold.dev, Athens, Greece. Questions about these terms or the app go to hello@abovethefold.dev or through the contact form.
